NTP

Configure the settings to correct the time and date of the recorder by referring to the NTP server.

Click the [Server] button.

Click the [NTP] tab.
The "NTP" page will be displayed.
Setup items
■ Time adjustment
Select "On" or "Off" (default) to determine whether or
not to adjust the time according to the NTP server.
■ NTP server address
Enter the NTP server address when using the NTP
server to adjust the time.
Enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters including
hyphens (-) and periods (.).

Configure each setting item.
Refer to "Setup items" mentioned below.

Click the [Set] button.
Note:
• To enter a server name, it is necessary to select
"Manual" or "Auto" for "DNS".
Important:
• When "On" is selected for the DHCP function of the
recorder and the time and date difference between
the recorder and the NTP server is more than ±1 000
second, the "Time adjustment" function may some-
times not work.
• NTP server function
It is possible to run the recorder as an NTP server to
be referred by the cameras. In this case, set the port
number of the camera to "123".
Refer to the operating instructions of the connected
camera for information on how to configure the set-
tings of the camera.
