28. Can I dial into DVX-1000 through a gateway and call an external (not
registered to DVX-1000) number?
Calls that come in through gateways can only call extensions that are
directly registered to DVX-1000. This restriction is placed to avoid
service theft.
29. What are the port numbers used by DVX-1000?
DVX-1000 with factory default configuration uses the following port
numbers:

30. What versions of DVX-1000 support TelTel ITSP?
TelTel interoperability is supported from version 2.0.3 onwards
31. What are the codecs that DVX-1000 supports?
DVX-1000 supports G.711, G.723 and G.729 for regular calls. It
supports G.711 for Auto Attendant, Voicemail and Conference calls.
32. Does DVX-1000 support SIP phones other than D-Link models?
Yes. DVX-1000 supports all SIP phones that are compliant to RFC3261.
33. Does DVX-1000 support SIP-based softphones?
Yes. DVX-1000 supports all SIP phones that are compliant to RFC3261.
34. Does DVX-1000 support video conferencing?
The built-in conference server of DVX-1000 supports only audio
streams. However, DVX-1000 supports calls between SIP based
videophones.
35. When we backup configuration, where is the file stored and under what
filename?
The file can be stored anywhere in the PC from which you login to
DVX-1000 web management interface. When you click on 'backup'
button, a pop-up window will appear where you can specify the file
name and file path. The default file name is ippbx.cfg
36. The configuration does not work as described in the manual, or the
device does not work as expected.
