set date
The
'set
date'
command
system date and time manually. All the
parameters have to be given in the same
order as they appear in the format below.
However, the user can give any number of
parameter; all the other parameters will be
set to current value.
set date <year> <month> <day> <hour>
<minute> <seconds>
e.g. set date 2005 Jan 30 10 35 45
set time
The
'set
time'
command
system time manually. All the parameters
have to be given in the same order as they
appear in the format below. However, the
user can give any number of parameter; all
the other parameters will be set to current
value.
set time <hour> <minute> <seconds>
E.g. set time 15 35 45
set year
The 'set year' command configures the year
parameter of the system date.
set year <year>
E.g. set year 2005
set month
The 'set month' command configures the
month parameter of the system date.
