7. Install the front spars to the chassis using the existing
cap screws. Tighten to 25 ft-lb. Install the two side
supports to the chassis using the existing cap screws
and new nuts. Tighten to 8 ft-lb.
8. Secure the right-side chassis support using the exist-
ing bracket, cap screws, and nuts. Tighten securely.

9. Secure the filler neck/thermostat housing to the side
support using the two stamped nuts; then secure the
large coolant hose to the engine and the smaller hose
from the oil cooler to the bottom of thermostat hous-
ing. Tighten to 35 in.-lb.

10. Route the main harness up the right side support
through the routing clips and down the front right
spar and down to the ECM. Secure the two routing
clamps to the side support and the spar using the
existing hardware. Tighten securely.

11. Secure both ground wires using the existing screws
and nut. Tighten securely.
XM421A
12. Install the steering post into position and secure to
the steering stop bracket with a new M10 nut. Be
sure to align the steering post ball joint alignment
tab with the steering stop bracket. Tighten to 43
ft-lb.

13. Secure the tie rod assembly to the steering post using
a new M10 nut. Be sure to align the tie rod ball
joint alignment tab with the steering post. Tighten
to 35 ft-lb.
