Photographs etc. Are Printed in Different Colors from Those Displayed on the Monitor
Cause The methods for adjusting the color on the screen (RGB) and in the printer (YMC) are
different. Therefore, the color on the screen may not be printed out exactly as it appears.
Solution 1 Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1. Display the [Quality] sheet.
2. Select the [Manual Color Settings] check box.
3. Click [Color Settings].
4. Display the [Matching] sheet.
5. Set [Matching Method] to [Perceptual [Monitor Color Matched]].
Solution 2 Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1. Display the [Quality] sheet.
2. Select the [Manual Color Settings] check box.
3. Click [Color Settings].
4. Display the [Matching] sheet.
5. Select [Gamma Adjustment] from [Matching Mode].
6. Change the gamma value for [Gamma].
