DSC OPERATION

■ Received messages

The transceiver automatically stores up to 20 distress
messages and 20 other messages. The messages can be
used as a supplement to your logbook.
• " " blinks when there is a message which has not been read.

D Distress message

q Enter "Distress" in the DSC menu.
DSC Menu ➪ Received Calls ➪ Distress
(Push [MENU])
w Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desired message, then
push [ENT].
• Blinking messages have not been read.
• The messages are stored in "Distress" in the DSC menu if its
category or format specifier is 'Distress.'
