2.2.9.4 Driving Specifications
Basic operation
Pressurization
Applies pressure to the inside of the ink supply passage. Drives the Pressure
control
Motor while checking the outputs of the Pressure Sensor and Pump HP
Sensor.
When the Pump HP Sensor turns L
additional pumping actions from the state where both sensors are H, the
motor is stopped by a short brake (Duty = 0) via stop control.
Initial pressurization raises the pressure up to above the threshold value of
the Pressure Sensor to reduce the required number of pumping actions.
If "Cover OPEN" is detected during the driving of the Pressure Motor, the
motor is stopped by a short brake (Duty = 0) immediately, without via the
stop control.
Pressure
Releases the pressure in the ink supply passage to atmospheric pressure. If
Pump reset
the Pump HP Sensor is H, until it turns as H
is L, until it turns as L
continuously and stopped by a short brake (Duty = 0) via stop control.
(The motor is always stopped with the Pump HP Sensor signal at H to avoid
the condition where the bellows pump may creep if it is stopped in a shrunk
position.)
