Section 7 - Troubleshooting

Low Engine Oil Pressure

Possible Cause
Insufficient oil in crankcase.
Excessive oil in crankcase (causing it to
become aerated).
Diluted or improper viscosity oil.

Battery Will Not Recharge

Possible Cause
Excessive current draw from battery.
Alternator drive belt loose or in poor condition.
Unacceptable battery condition.
Loose or dirty electrical connections or damaged
wiring.
Faulty alternator

Joystick

The joystick does not control the boat.
Response to joystick input is erratic, or the joystick
operates independent of input.
The joystick does not function properly and a fault code
is set.
The joystick does not work; No fault code is set and
cruise control engaged.

Electronic Remote Controls

The ERC (electronic remote control) lever is too hard or
too easy to move out of neutral detent.
The ERC lever has too much or too little resistance
through its range of motion.
The ERC lever increases engine RPM, but does not
engage gears and the boat does not move.
