COOLANT RESERVOIR
1. Level marks
NOTE: Coolant may be slightly lower
when checking level at temperature
lower than 20°C.
Add coolant if necessary. Use a funnel
to avoid spillage. Do not overfill.
WARNING
In order to avoid potential burns,
do not remove the coolant tank cap
if the engine is hot.
6. Properly reinstall and tighten filler
cap.
7. Properly reinstall all removed parts
in reverse order of their removal.
NOTE: A cooling system that fre-
quently requires coolant is the indica-
tion of leaks or engine problems. See
an authorized Can-Am dealer.
Recommended Engine Coolant
Always use ethylene-glycol antifreeze
containing corrosion inhibitors specifi-
cally for internal combustion aluminum
engines.
Cooling system must be filled with
BRP premixed coolant (P/N 219 700
362) or with distilled water and an-
tifreeze solution (50% water, 50% an-
tifreeze).
Engine Coolant Replacement
In order to avoid potential burns,
do not remove the coolant tank cap
or loosen the engine drain plug if
the engine is hot.
1. Remove access cover, refer to
GINE COOLANT LEVEL

2. Turn the coolant tank cap counter-
clockwise and remove it.

1. Coolant tank cap
3. Unscrew the drain plug slowly and
drain the coolant into a suitable con-
tainer.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove
drain plug.
