Remove the covers as necessary when
cleaning, inspecting, or repairing the inside
of the machine.
Those covers that can be detached by sim-

ply removing their mounting screws and that
can be removed on their own are omitted
from the discussions.
1. Removing the Right Cover
Skip steps 4) and 5) if the lower right cover is
not found.
1) Remove the four screws, and remove the rear
cover.
2) Open the front cover.
3) Slide out the cassette.
4) Remove the screw q from the vertical path
cover.
