V. AFTER REPLACING
PARTS
Some of the parts used in this machine
require adjustments and settings after being
replaced or disassembled/reassembled.
Check document feed and images after
the replacement or disassembly/reassembly
of the parts.
1. Control PCB
1) Perform "All Adjustment" and "Counter" in
the service mode.
2) Perform the following service mode set-
tings if required.
"Max Document Size"
•
"Sleep"
•
2. Registration Adjustment
Perform "Regist Adjustment" in the ser-
vice mode when failures occur on the leading
edge or trailing edge of scanned images after
replacing or reassembling parts related to
registration such as a registration sensor
lever.
3. Document Board Sensor, Docu-
ment Board Window, etc.
Perform "Document Sensor Adjustment"
in the service mode when the document de-
tection failures occur after replacing or reas-
sembling parts related to the document board
sensor.
