Note:

JBOD" policy in 3ware BIOS Manager. For more
information, see "Migrating Legacy JBOD Units to
a 9000 Controller" on page 24.
If you want to use these drives for online capacity
expansion and RAID migration in the future, 3ware
recommends that you backup the data from the
JBOD drives to another drive, create Single-disk
units from the JBOD drives, and restore your data.
Code set release 9.1.5 and newer supports the Battery Backup
Unit (BBU), which can preserve the contents of the cache
memory for up to 72 hours.

A workstation-class or server-class motherboard
meets the following criteria:
PCI slots comply with PCI 2.2 or above standards.
PCI slot that meets the Plug and Play and PC99
specifications.
