MK2000 MicroKiosk Product Reference Guide
To build a script:
1. In the Script Window, select the script to be built.
2. From the Script menu, select Build,

On the toolbar, choose
3. Select the item to build. If an application is selected to build, specify the application.
4. Select Compression for the hex image, which reduces the size of most hex images
in order to speed downloading. Tap OK .
5. TCM performs a check. If the script is has no errors, TCM proceeds with the
building the partition.
6. Which can be transferred via IPL to the MK2000 as a hex file.
If the Build Fails
If the build fails, TCM displays a message indicating which file(s) are missing.
If the total amount of flash required by the script exceeds the image size, a TCM error
results. To correct this, reduce the number of files in the partition. Refer to Defining Script
Properties on page D-4 for more information on setting the image size appropriately.

Sending the Hex Image

Once the hex file is built, download it to the terminal using IPL to download the files from a
a compact flash card. Refer to Upgrade Procedures on page E-1 for detailed procedures.
Saving the Script
If changes were made to the script since last saving it, save the script again.
