The room control feature of the projector is always on.

To configure your computer's serial interface
1. Turn on your computer, and then start your serial communications program or terminal emulation
program.
2. Connect your computer to the serial connection cable connected to the projector.
3. Configure your serial interface settings using the values in the previous table, and then press
ENTER.
The > character appears as a command prompt.
NOTE
If no message appears or an error message appears, your serial interface configuration isn't
correct. Repeat step 3.
4. Type commands to configure your settings.
NOTES
To see a list of commands available in the current operating mode, type ? and then press
o
ENTER.
If you're using a terminal emulation program, turn on your program's local echo setting to
o
see characters as you type them.

Your projector responds to commands only at certain power states and times.
There are six projector power states.
