This connection option can also be used to connect a transmitter and a
compatible receiver using a switch connected to the alarm input. In this case, no
computer is needed to establish the connection.

Connecting with a Web browser

Various requirements must be met in order to operate using a Web program.
Note
Transmitter and receiver must be located in the same subnet to establish a
hardware connection with a Web browser.
– Use the Web browser to connect to the receiver. Its home page is displayed.
– Under Video sources on the page Connections, select the camera. A JPEG
snapshot of the video source selected is displayed on the page.
– Click MPEG-4 connection to begin displaying the video images on the
connected monitor.

Closing the connection

The connection may be closed using a Web browser.
– Use the Web browser to connect to the receiver. Its home page is displayed.
In the title bar of the Monitor window on the page Connections, click on the X
icon to end the display of the video images on the connected monitor.
