To avoid personal injury:
A The machine can fall or slip from an unsafe
device or supports.
A Use a safe lifting device rated for the load to be
lifted.
A Lower the vehicle onto jack stands and block
the wheels before servicing. (See "JACK-UP
POINT" in "PERIODIC SERVICE" section.)
1. Park the vehicle on a firm, flat and level surface.
2. Raise the vehicle with a safe devise and lower onto the
jack or other stable supports. Block the wheels
remaining on the ground to prevent the vehicle from
moving.
3. Remove the wheel bolts and the tires.
