EVERY 400 HOURS

BChanging Transmission Oil
To avoid personal injury:
A Allow engine to cool down sufficiently, oil can
be hot and can burn.
1. Park the vehicle on a flat surface, and apply parking
brake then raise the cargo bed. Shut off the engine
and remove the key.
2. To drain the used oil, remove the drain plug at the
bottom of the transmission case and drain the oil
completely into the oil pan.
3. Check the rubber washer on the drain plug. Replace it
if missing or in poor condition.
4. After draining, reinstall the drain plug.
5. Fill with the new KUBOTA SUPER UDT fluid up to the
upper notch on the dipstick.

6. After running the engine for a few minutes, stop the
engine and check the oil level again; add oil to
prescribed level.
Oil Capacity
(1) Dipstick
(A) Oil level is acceptable within this range.
5.4 L (1.4 U.S.gals.)
(1) Drain plug
A Do not operate the vehicle immediately after changing
the transmission fluid.
Run the engine at medium speed for a few minutes to
prevent damage to the transmission.
