17.3.19 Removing rotor

Take off the cylinder head gasket
Remove screw
Push the cylinder upward.
Info
Push the cylinder upward only far enough to allow removal of the piston pin.
Ensure that the two grooved pins remain in place.

Remove piston pin retainer
Remove the piston pin.
Take off the cylinder with the piston.
Push the piston upward out of the cylinder.
Info
If no other work is required on the cylinder and the piston, you can leave the
piston in the cylinder.

Take off the cylinder base gasket.
Info
Ensure that the two grooved pins remain in place.
Remove special tool
Engine blocking screw (77329010000) (

Use the special tool to hold the rotor tight.
Holding spanner (75029091000) (
Loosen the nut
Info
The crankshaft must not be blocked.

Install the special tool
off the rotor by turning the screw in.
Extractor (58429009000) (
Remove the special tool.
