To install a DIMM:
1. Review the information in "Safety" on page v through "Handling static-sensitive
devices" on page x.
2. Run the shutdown procedure for the operating system. Turn off the server and
peripheral devices, and disconnect all external cables and power cords.
3. Remove the front bezel.
4. Remove the server memory-access panel.
a. Pull out the two plastic fasteners 1 on the memory-access panel 2 to
the unlocked position.
b. Remove the memory-access panel from the server.
Note: Do not remove the plastic fasteners from the memory-access panel.
