(6) The list of approved hydraulic fluid is:
• ROYCO 777
• Hydraulic fluid Aeroshell Fluid 51
(7) The fluids presented in the current revision of the QPL-87257 are con-
sidered alternatives of the recommended fluids.
(8) Open access door 195DL.
(9) Make sure that the LG is extended, wheels chocked, multifunction spoilers
and thrust reversers (optional) stowed, stick pusher and rudder spring
actuator inactive and brakes released.
(10)On the reservoir visual level indicator, make sure that the hydraulic fluid
level in the reservoir is between the FULL and the OVER FULL lines.
Refer to Figure 201.
(11)If the fluid level is not between the REFILL and the OVERFULL lines (in
the green area) do the following steps:
(a) Do the hydraulic reservoir servicing as follows:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID USED ON THE
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT FLUIDS OF DIFFERENT BRANDS
(b) Make sure that the hydraulic fluid used in the servicing procedure
meets the specification described above and is of the same brand as
that already in the system.
(c) Use a coupling assembly (dash 4) to the suction refill hose.
(d) Remove the suction refill quick-disconnect cap.
(e) Install the auxiliary hose of the hydraulic reservoir servicing unit to the
suction refill quick-disconnect.
(f) Operate the hand pump with an approved hydraulic fluid until the reser-
voir level indicator shows full.
NOTE:Make sure that the hydraulic reservoir service unit is filled
