• For static grounding with the use of the nose landing gear
point, use only a flexible grounding cable with a grounding
clamp.
WARNING: ALWAYS ATTACH THE GROUNDING CABLE TO THE
GROUNDING CONNECTION FIRST. DO NOT ATTACH
THE CABLE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND THEN TO THE
GROUNDING CONNECTION.
(3) For aircraft static grounding, use one of the two options that follow:
(a) For the grounding point on the undersurface of the wings:
1. Connect the grounding cable end to a grounding point in the hangar,
and the grounding cable clamp/plug to the static grounding point on
the undersurface of the left/right wing leading edge (Figure 201);
(b) For the grounding point on the nose landing gear:
1. Connect the grounding cable to a grounding point in the hangar and
attach the grounding clamp to the nose landing gear grounding
point (Figure 202).
(4) For oxygen or fuel system servicing, do the electrical bonding of the air-
craft to servicing equipment as follows:
(a) Connect the bonding cable to the servicing equipment.
(b) Connect the grounding clamp/plug of the bonding cable to the approved
static grounding point on the aircraft (Figure 201) (Figure 202).
