2.2 FINDING OUT THE CAPABILITIES OF YOUR MOBILE COMPUTER

2.2.1 CHANGING DEVICE NAME

1) Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel and select System to obtain essential
system information.
2) Select the Device Name tab to change the identification for the mobile computer.

2.2.2 UNDERSTANDING DEVICE CONFIGURATION

The device configuration of 9400 Mobile Computer is displayed in 5 digits: xxxx-x
Take the screenshot of System Properties above for example. Its device configuration is
"2410-0", which means the 28-key mobile computer has equipped with the following
parts –
