■ Set mode programming

Set mode s used to change the condtons of the trans-
cever's functons: Scan type, Scan resume tmer, Dual/Tr-
watch, Beep tone, LCD contrast, Automatc foghorn fre-
quency, Rado power, Scrambler type* and Scrambler code.*
* Appears only when the optonal scrambler unt s nstalled.
Avalable functons may dffer dependng on how they are
set by the dealer.

Set mode.

e After the dsplay appears, release [16•C].
r R otate [CHANNEL] to select the desred tem, push
[CHANNEL•ENTER].
t R otate [CHANNEL] to select the desred condton of the tem.
y P ush [CLR], or rotate [CHANNEL] to select "Exit," then
push [CHANNEL•ENTER] to ext set mode and returns to
normal operaton condton.

■ Set mode items

D Scan type
The transcever has 2 scan types: Normal scan and Prorty
scan. Normal scan searches all TAG channels n the se-
lected channel group. Prorty scan searches all TAG chan-
nels n sequence whle montorng Channel 16.

D Scan resume timer

The scan resume tmer can be selected as a pause (OFF)
or tmer scan (ON). When OFF s selected, the scan pauses
untl the sgnal dsappears. When ON s selected, the scan
pauses 5 sec. and resumes even f a sgnal has been re-
ceved on any other channel than Channel 16.
