DSC OPERATION
t After the all shps call has been transmtted, the followng
ndcaton s dsplayed.
y Push [CLR] to ext and the transcever selects Channel
16 automatcally.
• Even f [CLR] hasn't been pushed, the transcever automat-
cally selects Channel 16 after 2 sec. of nactvty.

Transmt a poston request call when you want to know a
specfic shp's current poston, etc.
q Push [MENU] to enter the DSC menu.
w Rotate [CHANNEL] to select "Position Request,"
push [CHANNEL•ENTER].

e Rotate [CHANNEL] to select the desred pre-pro-
grammed ndvdual address or "Manual Input," push
[CHANNEL•ENTER].
• The ID code can be set n advance. (p. 17)
• When "Manual Input" s selected, set the 9-dgt MMSI
number for the ndvdual you wsh to call by rotatng [CHANNEL].
