DSC OPERATION
i After recevng the acknowledgment, reply usng the m-
crophone.

• Nature of dstress : Selected nature of the dstress

➥ The dstress call s repeated every 3.5–4.5 mn., untl
recevng an 'acknowledgement.'
➥ Push [CLR] to cancel the 'Call repeat' mode.
➥ "??" may blnk nstead of poston and tme ndcatons
when the GPS data s nvald, or has not been manu-
ally updated after 4 hours.

To ensure correct operaton of the DSC functon, please
make sure you set the squelch correctly. (p. 8)
D Transmitting an individual call
The ndvdual call functon allows you to transmt a DSC sg-
nal to a specfic shp only.
q Push [MENU] to enter the DSC menu.
w Rotate [CHANNEL] to select "Individual Call,"
push [CHANNEL•ENTER].
