Apply generous amount of petroleum jelly to the masking tape and spread it
over thoroughly.

Apply a bead of clear silicone to the canopy frame including front and back
of the canopy.

Bolt the canopy to the fuselage. Clean excess silicone that oozes out and
wait 24 hours for the silicone to fully cure.
