Segmenti

Non devono presentare tracce di forzamenti o rigature.
I pistoni di ricambio vengono forniti completi di segmenti e spinotto.

Piston rings

The piston rings should not show signs of excessive wear or
scoring.
Spacer pistons are supplied complete with rings and gudgeon pins.

Accoppiamento segmenti-cilindro

Introdurre il segmento nella zona più bassa del cilindro (dove
l'usura è minima) avendo cura di posizionarlo bene in "squadro" e
misurare la distanza tra le due estremità del segmento.

Piston rings/cylinder clearance

Introduce the ring into the lower part of the cylinder. (i.e. where
there is least wear), ensure that the ring is squared up and then
check the ring end gap.
