Catena e ingranaggi distribuzione

Verificare ad ogni revisione del motore lo stato di usura dei denti
degli ingranaggi distribuzione e dei rulli della catena. Se i denti
risultano eccessivamente consumati sostituire i tre organi. Verifica-
re, tendendo la catena per togliere ogni allentamento, la lunghezza
di 20 passi (21 perni).
Riscontrando una usura oltre il limite prescritto di solo uno dei tre
componenti la distribuzione, procedere alla sostituzione di tutti.

Camshaft chain and gearing

At every engine overhaul the wear of the camshaft gear teeth and
the chain rollers should be checked. If the teeth are badly worn then

replace the three components. Hold the chain taut and check the
length of 20 links (21 pins).
If any one of three cam drive components is found to be worn then
all three components should be replaced.

Tendicatena distribuzione

I tendicatena devono essere sostituiti quando il materiale di usura è
deteriorato ed è visibile la parte metallica nella zona inferiore dei
rilevatori di usura.

Camchain tensioner

The camchain tensioners should be replaced when the wear
material is worn through and metal is visible in the bottom of the
wear marks.
