Montare i segmenti del pistone orientando la luce degli
stessi in modo che risulti un angolo di 120° tra loro.
Il contrassegno TOP deve essere rivolto verso l'alto.
(Sui modelli 450cc il raschiaolio non riporta alcuna
fasatura).
Fit the piston rings by orienting their port at an angle of
120° to each other.
The mark "TOP" must be turned highwards.
(on 450cc models the oil scraper does not carry any
marking).
Rimontaggio pistone e cilindro
Installare una nuova guarnizione base cilindro.
Montare il pistone sulla biella lubrificando con olio, montare gli
anellini ritegno spinotto. Assicurarsi che la freccia sul pistone sia
orientata in avanti.

Reassembly of piston and cylinder

Install a new base gasket.
Install the piston, lubricate the piston with oil and install the piston
pin circlips. Make sure that the arrow on the piston is pointing
forward.
Lubrificare la canna del cilindro e spingerla sopra i segmenti.
Lubricate the cylinder liner and push it down over the piston rings.
Rimontaggio testa cilindro
(Il rimontaggio delle valvole è descritto nel capitolo G "revisione
motore").
Usare sempre una nuova guarnizione della testa al montaggio.

Reassembly of cylinder head

(For valves reassembly see chapter G "engine overhauling").
Always use a new gasket head when assembling.
(See "Cylinder head gasket selection chart" on page H 32).
