When setting the piston and connecting rod on the tool body, be
sure that the small end of the connecting rod is placed properly
on the receiving area of the tool body.

Check the crankcase for signs of water leakage, oil leakage and
damage before cleaning it.
2.
Pr ior to inspection and repair,
clean each par t and remove the
dust, oil, carbon deposits and water scale.
3.
Clean the oil galler ies by applying compressed air and be sure
that the holes are not clogged and are clean and unobstructed.
Crankcase
Check
the crankcase for
cracks
and
damage.
If
defective,
replace the crankcase.
Check the water jackets for pre-
sence of water
scale and rust,
and clean as needed.
