Check
for
con-
tinuity
between
the (+) heats ink
and stator
coil
lead
connection
terminal with an
ohm meter.
If
there
is
con-
tinui ty in both
directions,
the
diode
is short-
circuited.
Replace the rec-
tifier assembly.
(-) Heatsink Assembly Test
Check
for
con-
tinuity
between
the (-) heatsink
and stator coil
lead
connection
terminal.
If
there
is
con-
tinui ty in both
directions,
the
diode
is short-
circuited.
Replace the rec-
tifier assembly.
Diode Trio Test
Using
an
ohm
meter, check the
three diodes for
continuity
in
both directions.
If
there
is
either con-
tinui ty
or
an
open circuit in
