REMEDY

Adjust injection timing
Overhaul or replace injectors
Check injector nozzle, and adjust
injector pressure
Check connections and fuel tank
Replace filter
Clean tank and replace filters
Check air intake for obstruction
Replenish water (check for leaks)
Adjust or replace
Clean
Correct injection timing
Replenish engine oil (check for
leaks)
Replace oil seals
Replace gasket
Tighten bolts
Tighten plug
Tighten connector bolt
Replace gasket
Tighten bolts
Correct ring positions
Replace connecting rod
Replace ring
Replace piston and rebore cylinder
Replace stern seal
Replace valve and valve guide
