4. Click the Basic > System tab.
For detailed information, see System Configuration on page 5-6.
a) In the Codec box, type the required codecs methods to be supported by the gateway.
These codecs must be set due to no default value.
b) From the DTMF method drop-down list, select RFC 2833.
c) In the 2833 payload type box, enter 101.
d) In the DTMF on-time box, enter the on time (in ms) of DTMF signal sent from PRI
port. The default value is 100 ms. Generally, the duration time should be set in the
range of 80-150 ms.
For Aeonix US ALARMS system enter 50 ms.
e) In the DTMF off-time box, type 50 ms.

In the DTMF detection threshold box, type 32 ms.
g) Click Submit to save changes.
5. Click the Basic > SIP tab.
For detailed information, see SIP Configuration on page 5-8.
a) In the Signaling port box, for Security reasons, it is recommended to change the port
number and not use the default value.
b) In the Register server box, type the Aeonix server IP address.
c) In the User name box, type name. Configure the trunk user name as part of the account
for Aeonix registration (it has no default value).
Use Table 5-5 above as a worksheet to make a list of Trunk User Name/Password.
d) In the Password box, enter the password. Configure the trunk password as part of the
account information, which is used for authentication by Aeonix (no default value). It is
