Port
Ethernet RJ-45 socket that connects the SmartNode with an Ethernet device, such as a
ETH 0/1
(10/100BaseT) wide area transmission modem, Ethernet hub, or switch. ETH 0/1 is a host port; it can
be connected with a straight-through wired cable to a hub, or a cross-over cable to a
host port. The Link LED is lit when the port is connected correctly to an active Ethernet
device. The 100Mb/s LED is lit when the port is connected correctly to an active
100Base-T Ethernet device.
