Tamper button
(a) Note: Before powering up the control panel, be sure that the tamper bridge connector is inserted on
the tamper switch connector (1) with the jumper provided. After you have terminated the programming,
connect the tamper switch (12) to the plug (1), fix the control panel cover in place and exit the program-
ming mode.
(b) Connect the PSTN telephone line to the control panel. Be sure that this line is direct and not through
a PBX system. If connected after the ASDL station use an appropriate line filter.
Attention: For the connection of terminals 22 to 28 with the touch screen keypad DN-6KP, it is necessary
to use an adequately shielded and ground cable. Type normally used in alarm installations 2 x 0.50 mm.

Hardwire, double balance line, zone connections:

All DUALNET-6 hardwire zones have double balance lines and can detect the difference between an
alarm trigger and a tamper trigger. For correct function, they must be wired as shown below.
Double balanced line connection
with 2 wires.
With control panel in stand-by mode, only R2 will be detected.
When control panel is triggered, both the R1 and R2 will be detected.
In the case of a tamper trigger, infinite resistance will be detected.
If tamper control is not necessary,
use the schematic diagram on the
right.
This is a double balance line connection
Without the tamper protection.
