17. Management of Panel from remote:
To activate the option of remote settings of the Dualnet-6 with SMS commands from a cellular
telephone, you must, in the main menu, go to the window "CMS Options" then follow the instructions
on pag.17. Go to the next window " Arming Status" and select "YES" and then

insert the telephone number to which the SMS confirmation must be sent in the menu
"Phone Number Setting", under "Contact ID" and set the "SMS" option (see page 13)

The SMS will be sent to all Tel. numbers for "Contact ID" and for SMS numbers.
To arm the Dualnet-6 from remote send the following SMS message:
Example: With factory set password (1234) the message to send is: 1234BF
The Dualnet-6 will reply with an SMS message: ARMED (this indicates that the panel has been
armed in Day mode.)
To disarm the Dualnet-6 the following SMS message must be sent:
Example: with the factory password (1234) the message to send is: 1234CF
The Dualnet-6 will reply with an SMS message: DISARMED (this indicates that the panel has been
totally Disarmed.)
REMOTE COMMANDS
You must call on of the two Dualnet-6 telephone numbers (PSTN or GSM) ;
Wait about 20 seconds and the panel answers with a beep ; Digit the password followed by # and
wait for a confirmation tone. At this point press 1 to arm in day mode 2 to arm in night mode and 3 to
arm totally.
NOTE: For every command you will hear a confirmation beep and them the line will auto-
matically be disconnected.
Note: To arm the control panel in night or day mode from remote with an SMS message
or a voice message, the control of zones triggered is not active (see under note how this
will function).
