Opening the lateral cover

Requirements:
● 10 mm socket wrench
● 6 mm Allen key
● Two oblong wooden blocks, at least 14 x 14 x 30 cm
Removing the lateral cover:
●
Remove the drive wheel, as described in chapter 8.12.1.
●
Remove the front cover and the rear covers, as described in chapters 8.1.1 and 8.1.2.
●
Use the 10 mm socket wrench to loosen both screws (1).
●
Hold the cover firmly with one hand.
●
Completely remove both screws (1) including the washers.
●
Pull the cover off towards the side.
●
Disconnect the plug-in connections if there are tail lights installed in the lateral cover (see
illustration below).
