Cause and remedial action
Immediately after installing the unit or replacing the cartridge,
the Water Quality Indicator Lamp will blink for approximately
10 - 40 seconds while water is running through the unit.
Run water through the unit for approximately 3-4 minutes.
(This is to vent any air caught inside the cartridge.)
Did you leave the unit unused for 24 hours or more?

This is not a malfunction.
This happens when you stop down the water faucet too far

water pressure, and the unit detects the lack of water running
through.
Press "Acidic Water" again, and gradually open the water
faucet until the Water Quality Indicator Lamp starts to
blink.
Is the "Alkaline priority" setting established?
To release Alkaline priority, while no water is running
through the main unit, press
heard (for about 3 seconds).
Is the water turned off?
This lamp will light up while water is running through the
unit and for approximately 30 seconds after the water is
turned off.
Did you forget to press the Reset button?
Close the water faucet and press the Reset button.
Did you press the Reset button while the power cord was
