Symptom
The Cartridge Replacement
Lamp is blinking even
though the Cartridge Life
Lamp is lit.
The Cartridge Replacement
Lamp does not light up even
though a year has passed.
None of the lamps on the
main unit light up.
■ Is this a malfunction?
Symptom
Water comes out after
the faucet has been
turned off
No water comes out
when the Alkaline
Ionizer is used
Water is leaking from
a place other than the
selected spout
Cause and remedial action
※ Unplug the power cord and then plug it back in.
Is the water faucet stopped down too much?
Open the water faucet.
Is the water pressure too low?
Open the water faucet all the way.
Is there a crimp in the water supply hose?
Straighten the water supply hose.
The water flow has diminished because of clogging in the
cartridge.
This is not a malfunction. It is nearly time to replace the
cartridge.
The unit is designed so this Lamp will light up after a
cumulative usage of one year at an average volume of 30
liters per day. When the usage volume is lower than this, the
Lamp will not light up even after a year has passed.
This is not a malfunction.
Is the power cord plugged in?
Plug in the power cord.
There is a malfunction in the Alkaline Ionizer.
Unplug the power cord and consult with the dealer.
Cause and remedial action
The water inside the Alkaline Ionizer is draining off.
This is not a malfunction.
Is the drain hose bent or flattened?
Straighten out the hose.
The build-up of calcium or other minerals inside the bypass
selector may be to blame.
Obtain some citric acid from a pharmacy, dissolve 50 g in
one liter of water, and after immersing the bypass selector
in the solution for about 12 hours, rinse with water.
