CAUTION:
When S- TEC Flight Director is installed and
operating, the Flight Director Autopilot should be
disconnected using the control wheel disconnect
switch only.
Any other means of disconnect
(breaker, ON-OFF switch, etc.) may leave steering
bars in view, but inoperable.
NOTE: For smoother altitude captures, thus enhancing passenger
comfort, engage altitude hold mode at rates of climb or
descent of 1,000 FPM or less.
