Programmable Keys

The 480i has the following programmable keys:
6 Softkeys – Context-sensitive state-based softkeys that support up to 20
programmable functions, with corresponding status lamps for line appearances. See
Softkey Display

Features and Key Labels

Programmable softkeys are configured by the system administrator according to the
requirements of your organization. You may or may not have some of the features listed
in the table below.
The 480i softkeys can be configured for any or all of the following features:

Description
Line/call appearances.
Establishes a 3-way conference.
Transfers a call to another party.
Forwards your calls to another
phone.
Parks a call.
Picks up a call ringing at another
phone.
Places the phone in the Do Not
Disturb state and incoming calls
go directory to your pre-defined
call forward/busy destination,
usually your voicemail.
The softkey is configured to force
a blank entry on the IP phone
display for a specific softkey.
Receives calls on behalf of other
parties and forwards the calls to
the original destination
mailboxes.
Accesses the voicemail system.
