Speaker Lamp

The speaker lamp is located beside the Speaker key.
Speaker LED Status
On Solid
Slow Flash
Rapid Flash

Message Waiting Indicator Lamp

The Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) lamp is located at the top right of the phone.

Rapid Flash
Even Flash

Volume Key

You can adjust the volume on the receiver, headset, speaker, and ringer using the
Volume key.
Step
Set Ringer Volume:

Description
You are in Speaker mode. (Default mode.)
You are in Headset mode.
The call is muted.
Description
You have a new message (s).
You have an incoming call.
One or more calls are on hold.
Action
Leave the handset in the cradle.
Press the Volume key.
Lift the handset
Press the Volume key.
Result
The Ringer setting indicator displays
on the screen and you hear the current
ringer volume.
You can also set the volume to OFF.
You hear dial tone at the current sound
level.
The Handset volume indicator displays
on the screen. The handset remains at
this volume until it is adjusted again.
