Step Possible Cause
The DRV-SUB_B FFC is not connected to Connector CN1 on the

SUB_B Board and Connector CN4 on the DRV Board.
2 Connector CN2 and CN4 on the SUB_B Board are not connected.
3 Failure of the SUB_C Board and the SUB_D Board
4 DRV Board failure
5 Main Board failure
Step Possible Cause
1 The host computer does not support USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394.
The TWAIN Driver supplied with the scanner has not been installed

correctly.
3 The USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394 cables are damaged.
4 Main Board failure
Note : USB 2.0 may be installed but disabled on the host computer. Check the

Corrective Action
Connect the DRV-SUB_B FFC to CN1 on the SUB_B Board and
CN4 on the DRV Board.
Connect CN2 and CN4.
Replace the SUB_C Board and the SUB_D Board.
Replace the DRV Board.
Replace the Main Board.
