The OPTION Connector CN7 on the main unit and the DRV Board

Connector CN2 are not connected with the TPU Unit cable.
2 The TPU Carriage Lock has not been released.
3 The TPU Lower Housing is not installed correctly.
The TPU Carriage Mechanism has failed
• The TPU CR Motor does not move normally when powered-on
4 with the TPU Lower Housing removed.
• The TPU Carriage Unit does not move normally with the TPU CR
Motor removed.

Step Possible Cause
The OPTION Connector CN7 on the main unit and the DRV Board

Connector CN2 are not connected with the TPU Unit cable.
The Lamp Connector is not connected to Connector CN2 and CN3 on

the TPU Inverter Board.
Connector CN1 on the TPU Inverter Board and Connector CN3 on the

SUB_B Board are not connected to the cable.
The DRV-SUB_B FFC is not connected to Connector CN1 on the
4
SUB_B Board and Connector CN4 on the DRV Board.

Connect the FFC to the Connector CN5 on the Main Board.
Replace the Carriage Unit.
Replace the Main Board.

Connect the connectors with the TPU Unit cable.
Release the TPU Carriage Lock.
Reinstall it correctly.
Replace the TPU Carriage Unit.
Replace the TPU CR Motor.
Replace the DRV Board.

Replace the TPU Inverter Board.
Replace the DRV Board.
