1 The Document Glass is not clean. (Image has white spots)

1 A connector is disconnected.
2 CR Motor failure
Step Possible Cause
1 The Carriage Lock has not been released.
2 The Upper Housing is not installed correctly.
Carriage Mechanism failure
• The CR Motor does not operate normally when powered-on with
3 the Upper Housing removed.
• The Carriage Unit does not move normally with the CR Motor
removed.
