Network
Use the Network Setup menu to change the printer settings affecting jobs sent to the printer through the wired or
wireless network.
NOTE:
• The value marked by an asterisk (*) is the factory default setting.
• Ethernet / Wireless
NOTE:
• When using a wired network, Ethernet is displayed. When the Ethernet cable is disconnected, Wireless is displayed.
Purpose:
To confirm or specify network settings.
Wi-Fi
Purpose:
To enable the wireless connection.
Values:

Wireless Setup Wizard
NOTE:
• Wireless Setup Wizard is available only when the printer is connected using the wireless network.
Purpose:
To configure the wireless network interface. The printer automatically searches and list available access points.
Select one of the access points, and enter a passphrase or WEP key to complete the wireless setup. You can also
specify and configure the wireless network manually.

Select the access point from the list. The access points are listed starting with the one in the best
communication condition.
When you select an access point using WEP as the security method, enter the

WEP key. For 64bit keys, enter 10 hexadecimal characters. For 128bit keys,

Enter Password When you select an access point using WPA, WPA2, or Mixed as the encryption
type, enter the passphrase of 8 to 63 alphanumeric (or 64 hexadecimal)
characters.
