Ribbon Action

This option allows you to select the following three functions:
DISABLE does not display the RibbonMinder ink consumption
percentage. The percentage is calculated but not displayed.
DISPLAY allows you to view the RibbonMinder ink consumption
display.
FAULT displays an error message, which is Ribbon Ink Out, Change
Ribbon, when the RibbonMinder consumption percentage falls below
zero. The error message can be cleared and printing can continue for
approximately another two minutes. If either the RibbonMinder is not
reset or a new ribbon is not installed, an error message will be displayed
again.

Ribbon Size

You can use the Ribbon Size option to specify the ribbon length in
increments of one yard.
Minimum size is 1 yard and maximum size is 255 yards. (Default is 100
yards.) Although you can enter a number between 1 and 255, you should
make sure the number matches the ribbon size, which is either 60 or 100
yards. Therefore, you would enter either 60 or 100.

Ribbon Adjust

Enables you to print more or less pages before the display reaches 0%. Refer
to Chapter 7, "RibbonMinder," for more information.
The setting can range from –99% through 99%. 0% is the default.

Fault Action

Allows you to select the way the fault message will be reset.
NEW RIBBON resets the ribbon life to 100 percent when you open the
platen to change the ribbon.
DO NOTHING means that the ribbon life may only be reset via the New
Ribbon menu option.
