3. In the Retries field, enter an integer which specifies the maximum number of times an ARP
request will be retried. The range for this field is 0 to 10. The default value is 4.
4. In the Cache Size field, enter an integer which specifies the maximum number of entries for
the ARP cache. The range is 79 to 1024. The default value is 1024.
5. In the Dynamic Renew field, select whether the ARP component automatically attempts to
renew ARP entries of type Dynamic when they age out. The default setting is Enable.
6. Click Cancel to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to
the latest value of the switch.
7. If you change any of the settings on the page, click Apply to send the updated configuration
to the switch. Configuration changes take effect immediately

ARP Create

Use this page to add a static entry to the ARP table.
To display the page, click Routing
To configure a static ARP entry:
1. In the IP Address field, enter the IP address that you want to add. It must be the IP
address of a device on a subnet attached to one of the switch's existing routing
interfaces.
2. In the MAC Address field, enter the unicast MAC address of the device. The format is six
two-digit hexadecimal numbers separated by colons, for example 00:06:29:32:81:40.
3. Click Add to add an ARP Entry.
4. If you made any changes to existing entries, click Apply to update the settings.
5. To delete an entry, select the box associated with the entry and click Delete.
6. Click Cancel to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to
the latest value of the switch.
