Troubleshooting Procedure
1. Check if the starter is running.
2. Check the wire harness.
3. Check the connectors and terminals.
4. Check the state of the sensor attachment (dust, e.g.).
5. Check the sensor output signal.

Engine will keep controlling engine speed with the crank signal.
Engine cannot control the injection timer during and injection failure code. The injection timing
will default to fully retarded.
Maximum engine speed is limited to 1800 rpm.

After the fault has been cleared and also when throttle position is at low idle position
White smoke or black smoke may increase more than usual because of the failure code of the
injection timing control. This error is also detected when the key position is in START and the
gear is in neutral but the starter is not running (when no battery cable is connected to starter).
