TROUBLESHOOTING
Trouble symptom
The engine cannot be
controlled. Engine speed does
not increase. (The engine
speed is fixed at low idling.)
The engine cannot be
controlled. Engine speed does
not rise to more than
1800 rpm.

Causes
Main throttle station is inactive. Activate the station.
Faulty main throttle:
Detected error (P0120)
Faulty main and sub-throttle:
Detected error (P0120, P0220)
Fuse (AUX POWER: 10A)
burned out.
Detected error (P0120)
Faulty control head.
Communication error of the
control module:
Detected error (0146)
Crankshaft speed sensor error:
Detected error (P0335)
Camshaft speed sensor error:
Detected error (P0340)
Difference error of speeds:
Detected error (P0335)
Disconnect and short-circuit
error of the rack position
sensor:

Disconnect and short-circuit
error of the boost sensor:

Troubleshooting by Symptom
Corrective action
Replace.
Check the input value of a
acceleration sensor with a
YDT. If an error is not detected
and a malfunction is found,
replace.
